"Today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live." Dalai Lama
Deborah Anne Garry lived her life to the fullest from a young age. She brought happiness to many people and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Deb grew up in Ottawa and made her living in communications and fundraising, but it was her love for the Jamaican people that truly made her happy. May she rest in peace now with her mother, Bette Garry, and dad, Elwood "Gus" Garry. She leaves behind her sister, Susan Urie (Bob Fawcett), her nephews, Sean Urie and Jamie Urie, and their families - Aubrey, Lauren, Maya, Camden and Easton, and her many friends around the world. She will always be remembered for her free spirit, which guided her in her journey through life.
Many thanks to the staff at Madonna Care Community for their excellent care of Debbie over the last few years.
There will be a Celebration of Life in the coming months. All welcome. Appleton Rum and Coke will be flowing.
