Delphine Lajoy

Delphine Lajoy, June 6, 1935 - May 17, 2023.

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of DELPHINE JOYCE LAJOY, 87, of Toronto. Del passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Del is survived by children Karen, John (Joanna) and David (Linda). Del met the love of her life, Leo, while living in Windsor as a teenager. They married and had successful careers that carried them to Toronto, Montreal and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Del enjoyed an exciting career in the travel business which provided the family many exciting adventures around the world. It seemed like Del and Leo were moving every two to three years whether a company transfer or inner city change of residence, Del loved to decorate. Post Saudi, they retired in Victoria, BC, then Parksville and back to Victoria. Sadly, Leo said goodbye to Del in 2015. Del and Karen made a courageous relocation from Victoria, BC, back to Toronto in 2021. Her sons are grateful for the extra time they were able to spend with her in Toronto. Del will be greatly missed by family and her many friends. Puppies, Bae and Moglii will also miss their Mamala. In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired to: Humber River Hospital.
