Denise enjoyed reading, watching B movies, and spending time online playing games and talking to people from all over the world, most she had never met in person. She loved to talk and learn about other people, and they really enjoyed talking to her. Denise loved to dance and did so with passion. When she lost her leg three years ago, she still managed to get out there and dance. Denise loved animals and had many that soothed her and brought her joy when she was feeling down or was having a bad day. Cooking was by far her greatest gift. She was an amazing cook. Making meals out of nothing at all. She taught those she loved how to cook and to be proud of their accomplishments. Denise loved to sing and first started out singing in her church choir. She had a very wonderful melodic voice.
She fought CVS for the past 13 years, with courage and determination to not let this disease take her life. She chose on her own terms when it was time to leave this world.
She is survived by her grandson Connor and her wife Leona (Lee)
