After an incredibly inspiring and courageous battle with cancer, Marie Blanche Denise Warner (née Roquebrune) passed away at the young age of 64 on October 10th, 2020. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us in mourning the passing of our wife, mom, grandma, aunt and friend.
Denise will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, George—Bud; her daughters Shannon (Jonathan) and Kerri (David); her sons Eric and Chris (Natalie); her sisters Suzanne, Hélène, Jocelyne and Monique; her brothers René, Pierre, Marc and Michel; her grandchildren Samantha, Alison, Jaime and Jack; as well as many brother & sister-in laws, nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
Denise is predeceased by her parents Rodolphe and Gabrielle Roquebrune and her sister Diane.
Denise loved to travel; chasing sunshine, beaches and palm trees. Bud and Denise went on many vacations, either as solo adventurers or with friends or family. One of Denise’s most favourite things was being a Grandma. She was a renowned distributor of Fruit Snacks.
Denise will be remembered for her love of life and family, her sense of humour and the best lasagna on the planet. Denise, you showed us that miracles do happen. You taught us that every moment you get together is worth fighting for. You leave us with beautiful lessons on love, strength, devotion and grace.
Tremendous and heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Paul Wheatley-Price and all the truly exceptional doctors and nurses at the Ottawa Cancer Centre, Dr Sylvie Brûlé (Rockland Family Medicine Clinic), Clara Dumontier (Champlain LHIN), and Linda Rockwell (Bayshore Home Care Solutions) who all provided endless support, along with kind care and compassion throughout Denise’s ordeal.
