It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Derby Gabriel 74, of Oakville, Ontario, Canada on November 3, 2022. Born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on September 17, 1948, he was the son of the late Mazeline Eileen and Forde Gabriel of Stubbs SVG.

He is survived by his wife Pearl O’Neale-Gabriel, his sons Ian, Darryl and Michael, grandchildren Micah and Sterling, his sisters Elma, Maureen and Dawn of Toronto, brothers Augustine of The Bronx New York, Douglas and Anthony of Toronto, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, as well as many aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022, 1:00 PM at St. Simon’s Anglican Church, 1450 Litchfield Rd. Oakville, Ontario, followed by a reception.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their care and kindness in Dennis’s final days. Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
