Derek Ellis Pheaton

Our Father, Grandfather, Brother and Husband Derek Ellis Pheaton passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Hospital on November 21, 2020. Derek was a loving Husband and best friend to Margaret who passed away in 2000.  Husband to second wife Gloria. Father to Steve (Brenda) and Geoff (Cheryl). Grandfather to Neil (Erica) Nicholas (Nikole) Stephanie (Daniel) and Matthew. Brother to Linda (Bernard). A love of hockey brought Derek and Margaret from England to Canada in 1957 where they enjoyed a life filled with camping, model airplanes and boats, hockey with the boys, travel to the Maritimes and spending time with their grandchildren. Derek will be in our hearts forever.

Cremation has occurred, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Southlake Foundation. A memorial will take place at a later date.
