SCHWARTZEL, Derrick Kenneth
Derrick, at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of his family, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on February 13, 2019. Beloved husband of Rosemary, and loving father of four children – Jeff (Rachel), David (Beverley), Colleen (Mike) and Venetia (Brian), as well as cherished grandfather and great grandfather to their children and grandchildren. Derrick also leaves behind his dearly loved brother Eugene, and many extended family members and friends. At Derrick's request, in lieu of a formal funeral service, a private family burial and "celebration of life" will be held. We can't thank the wonderful and supportive staff of Glen Hill Strathaven enough for their exceptional care and kindness.
