Diane Edwards

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Clarissa Edwards (née Leroux) a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who left us on January 29, 2024 at the age of 73.

Diane was born in Vars, Ontario on November 27, 1950 to Arthur Leroux and Eva Leroux (née Chartrand). She grew up in a close-knit family alongside her siblings Gilles Leroux (predeceased), Jean Paul Leroux, René Leroux, André Leroux, Irene Welch and Lise Lacelle.

She cared deeply for her family and friends and always put everyone first. She led with kindness, generosity and compassion and she did so without expecting anything in return. She deeply impacted the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Mark Edwards, her daughter Donna Edwards and granddaughter Sydney Edwards. Thank you for everything you did for us. You will never be forgotten we will love you and speak of you forever.

In keeping with Diane’s wishes no funeral or service will be held.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Ottawa Hospital who provided exceptional care, warmth and support during her last hours.
