Diane Lavoie

Diane Lavoie, born December 28, 1945, peacefully passed away on February 15, 2024.

She joins her late husband, Leo Lavoie, in eternal rest. Diane was the beloved daughter of Edgar Boisvenue and Irene Besserer and sister to Thérèse and Claire. She is survived by her loving sisters Anita, Carmen, Lynn, Lise, Louise, and brother Edgar. Diane leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her children Julie (Richard), Jacques (Suzanne), and Michel (Tamara). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Anthony (Christina), Jessica (Naji), Justin (Sydney), Alyssa (Sebastien), Latavia, Michael, Amira, and her three great-grandchildren, Jiraiya, Zain, and Cruz.  She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A Mass in celebration of her life will be held at Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica on March 2, 2024, at 11 am, located at 385 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
