With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dianna Alice Karson, who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 78. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched so many.
Born on November 29, 1946, in Ottawa, Ontario, Dianna was the cherished daughter of Harold and Yvonne Tallon, both of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her sister Marie Methot. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Shirley Robinson and Debbie Simmons.
Dianna was a devoted mother to Laurie Greenfield (David) and Christopher Karson (Nancy) and a proud grandmother to Riley, Ilish, Aileigh, and Ronan Karson, and James Greenfield who brought endless joy to her life.
She was reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, Peter Karson, who passed away before her. Married for 51 years, their love was built on devotion, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Dianna deeply missed Peter and now finds peace in joining him once more.
She will be remembered for her generosity, strong spirit, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence. Though she is no longer with us, the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private family gathering will be held at Hope Cemetery Chapel on Friday, March 28, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianna’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
