Dianne (Favell) McIntyre

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianne McIntyre (nee Favell) who was born on July 13th, 1958 and passed away on August 14th, 2023 at the young age of 65 at the Ottawa General Hospital

Family and friends will remember her as a caring, giving, strong and independent woman. Dianne loved to travel, read and spend time with her family and friends.

Daughter of Audrey Favell and the late Gordon Favell. Beloved wife of Scott McIntyre. Proud mother of Chris Labelle (Stephanie), Kim Whitebread (John), Jennifer Labelle and step-daughters Rebecca McIntyre (Lawrence) and Stephanie McIntyre. Adored grandmother to Archie, Sophie-Anna, Brian, Abigail, Jacob, Madison and Henry. Cherished by her sister Jan Bering (Ken) and her nieces and nephews: Jordan, Belle (Brad), Erica, Heidi, Josh, and Jarod. She will also be missed by her extended family, friends, and the entire congregation at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cornwall as well as the staff at Brookdale Avenue McDonalds.

The family extends its most sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital Critical Care Unit.

As per Dianne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 500 Cornwall Centre Road in Cornwall, On. on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 between 2-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and MS Society of Canada.
