HOGG, DONALD – Peacefully, at Elgin Manor in Southwold, Ontario, on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Donald Hogg formerly of Liverpool, England in his 87th year. Lovingly remembered by daughters Janet Grady (Steve Grady) and Deborah Egle (David Egle). Dear Opa of Erin Vickress Stewart (Jeff Stewart), Eric Manns (Jamie Newman), and Andrea Weirmier (Chris Weirmier) and great-grandchildren Carly and Nathan Weirmier, Patrick Manns, Chase and Chelsea Stewart. A special “thank you” to the nurses and care givers at the Elgin Manor for making his final days very comfortable and providing such compassionate care. After working 42 years at Orenda Engines, Hawker Siddeley, he spent his remaining years being a 24/7 caregiver to his wife Eleanor after her debilitating stroke 20 years prior. Pre deceased by his wife Eleanor, brother Bill and parents, Bill and Monica. Rest in peace Dad. You are now in God's loving hands
