Donald Muir

"Let the memory of Donald be with us forever"

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Mr. Donald Muir on September 3rd, 2020 at home in Rockland, Ontario at the age of 71 years old, with his loving wife and mother by his side. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He spent his career as a heavy equipment operator and was a proud Ottawa Senators fan.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Adams) and son of Bill (predeceased) and Ellen Muir.  Loving brother of Leonard (Denise) of Alfred and Dennis (predeceased). Loving father of Carrie Irving (Matt) of Nova Scotia, Allen Muir (Natalie) of Curran and Jennifer Larocque (Brad) of Rockland. Cherished grandfather of Kandace, Emily, Bridgette, Hope, Brandon, Joshua, Brady, Zachary, and Ashton and great grandfather to Kaylea. Donald will be sadly missed by his loving family and close friends. He will forever be in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Canadian Cancer Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation which would be greatly appreciated.

Due to the current situation, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
