Don Stuart
Don spent his working life in Education, first as a teacher at St. Andrew’s College, Castle Frank High School, and Eastern High School of Commerce. This was followed by a three-year secondment to the Department of National Defence High School in Baden-Solingen, Germany. On returning to Canada, Don spent time at West Toronto Collegiate, Northern Secondary School and Woburn Collegiate as Vice Principal. Don was made Principal of Cedarbrae Collegiate- a job he loved. He was then elected Vice Chair and Chair of the Toronto Schools Administrators’ Association (TSAA) representing all principals’ concerns to the board senior team.
Cremation has occurred. At Don’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. A Remebrance Reception will be held in early June. Information will be posted at www.rememberingdonstuart.com.
