Doris Irene Barr (Nee Wells)

Our Mother, Doris passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 of natural causes at VHA Home Healthcare Kew Beach at the age of 97.

She was predeceased by her loving husband James (Jim), her parents Charles and Catherine Wells and her many brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her daughters Donna Krolewski and Susan Barr (Paul), grandsons Robert Krolewski (Lorraine) and Brian Krolewski (Tina), 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson.

She was born in Windsor, Ontario on July 22, 1926 and moved to Toronto with her family in 1940.  She led a full and happy life; she travelled to many places, had many friends and she had a love of bowling that spanned more than 65 years.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Our thanks to the 3rd floor staff at VHA Home Healthcare Kew Beach and to Michael Garron Hospital who took excellent care of her.  As per her wishes there will be no funeral/service.  She will be cremated and her ashes will be buried alongside her husband at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Toronto.
