Doris Kathleen Brennan

Passed away peacefully at Fairview Nursing Home on Friday, December 9, 2016 in her 96th year. . Loving wife of the late John James Patrick Brennan. Beloved mother of Juanita Mallon, John Brennan and Judith Donadel (Victor). Proud grandmother of Valerie, Michael, Ann Louise, Susan, Adam, Christian, Ryan, Jaclynne, and Mary Katherine. Great grandmother of Stacy, Christopher, Nicole, Samantha, Stephanie, Ashleigh, Devyn, Kevin, Christian, Hunter, Zoe and Finn. Favourite auntie to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Elizabeth and James Hayward. Sister to the late Shirley Hayward, the late Pearl McKinley and to Larry Hayward (Heather). . Mom always thought of her family first and made sure that everyone was taken care of before herself. She loved her garden and enjoyed growing many beautiful flowers and amazing tomatoes. She loved to sew and was a perfectionist at it. Baking was second nature to Mom. Everyone loved her cookies, pies and butter tarts! Mom had many dogs throughout her life and treated each of them like a member of the family, even cooking them special meals and giving them their own ice cream cones! . The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Nursing Home for their care and support. Memorial Donations in Doris’s name may be made to the OSPCA or a charity of your choice.

A funeral service will be held at Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, on Tuesday, December 13 ^th at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at 1:00 p.m.
