It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doris Janice Brown, age 71. She died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in the early hours of Jan 20th, 2024 from a battle with cancer. She is predeceased by 3 of her children Adam, Dolly and Angela and her sister Lynn. Doris is survived by 5 brothers and 7 sisters. Alvin [Karen (2) & Chris (1)], George [Mary (2), Cindy (3) & Georgie (1)], Jean [Richard (1) & Jean (2)], Mae [Lisa (1) & Bobbie (2)], Beatrice [Dwayne (3)], Roslyn [Tammy (2), Tanya (2) & Diana], Sherry [Nadine (1) & Sara], Bill [Billie], Lynn [Steven (3) & Amanda], Roxanne [Chrystal (1)], Dale [Leanne (4) Chesley & Anthony], Darren [Angela (2) & Nathan (1)], & Mike [Joe, Mikey & Reid]. Her loss is also felt by Lisa (& Robin) her surviving daughter as well as her three granddaughters Victoria, Breanna and Ariel. The family would like to extend a thank you to the RVH nurses who went the extra mile to tend to her and leave her with a kind word.
