Douglas Desforges

Desforges, Douglas Wayne December 30, 1948-December 14, 2015 Doug passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer at St. Peter’s Hospital. Loving husband of Lynn (nee Gaudett). Very proud father of Kristine Talaga (Jay) and Amy Dorcas (Dwayne). A fun filled loving Grandpa to Tyler, Brendan, Tanner, Ashley, Dakota, Sophia, Devan, Hunter and proud Great-grandfather to Tyson. Devoted and loved brother of Marlene (Bernie), Reg (Barb), Jim (Liz), Cathy and Peter. Doug will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Juravanski Cancer Center in Doug’s name for all of the wonderful, compassionate people who made a difference in his life. Visitation will be Friday, December 18 at Bayview Gardens in Burlington from 2:00pm – 4:00pm with a memorial service from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
