Douglas Thorogood

“Our beloved Uncle and friend, Douglas Arthur Thorogood passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Centre on Saturday, January 19, 2013, in his 66th year. Doug was born in Montreal to the late Fred and Dorothy (Line) Thorogood. He worked for Pratt and Whitney in Toronto, for over 30 years. He pursued his love of golf (military style) and enjoyed spending time with his many friends at his favorite watering hole! He will be deeply missed by his close circle of friends and his family. A service will be held on Thursday, January 24th at St. John’s Dixie Crematorium, 737 Dundas St E, Mississauga from 5:30-6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Trillium Hospital Oncology/Palliative Care Unit (Hurontario)will be most appreciated. Immediately following, family and friends are invited to a celebration of Doug’s life at Norma Jeans Restaurant, 5977 Dixie Rd, Mississauga.
