Dr. Pierre Grové Steyn

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Pierre G. Steyn. Loving Father, Oupa and Husband. He had an amazing zest for life, as a physician moving from South Africa to Canada and exploring the world with his forever partner Wendi Arnold. He leaves behind his four sons Grové (Erma), Joubert (Susan), Lombard (Rita), Dirk (Rachelle) and many grandchildren whom he cherished. He also leaves behind his bonus children, Jenny (Blake), Jill (Noel) and Neil as well as their children who always put a smile on his face. He forever treasured his visits back to South Africa, spending time with family, adventuring in Kruger National Park and looking out at Table Mountain. He will be deeply missed by his “sweetheart” Wendi, as he was her best man, their love unbreakable, holding hands until the very end. The family will lay him to rest at a family cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider doing something kind for somebody else in his honour. We hope the kind way in which he led his life and cared for others will carry forward as he would have wanted.
