It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Drasko Petkovic.

Drasko passed away peacefully with his wife Eva by his side on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the age of 70. Drasko will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Eva, daughter Danica, sister Lana, niece Dina, brother-in-law Peter and his family.

Drasko was born in Smederevo, Serbia and grew up in Belgrade. Later in his life, he lived for ten years in New Zealand, a country he deeply enjoyed, before moving to Canada. Drasko was a passionate sailor, biker, diver, and singer. He also found great enjoyment in driving and thought nothing of driving to South Carolina to pick up his faithful dog companion, Jetty, who brought Drasko friendship and great joy.

Drasko will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered for his passion, strength, humor, kindness, smile, but most of all for his love for life and adventure. Gone but never forgotten.
