Edna Mary Fraser

June 28, 1934 — December 17, 2017

Edna Mary Fraser was born in Englehart, Ontario on June 28, 1934. She passed away peacefully at the Waterford Retirement home in Barrie on December 17, 2017.  Edna was a graduate of Ryerson University with a degree in Interior Design. She spent most of her professional career designing and running the Simmons Showroom at the International Centre in Mississauga. She was also a member of the Tecumseh Potters for eight years. A loving Mother and Grandmother, Edna is survived by Hilary and Scott Dalton, Rona and Philip Marsden and their children, Rie and Chase in England and Marigold and Keith Findlay and their children Brett, Arran and  Lewis in Scotland. She will be greatly missed. Edna was much loved by her siblings, Jean Wallace, Edith McCarthy, Arthur Fraser and Joan Lowery. Edna was a committed Christian who exemplified kindness patience and love. The celebration of Edna's life will be held on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 am at St. George's Anglican Church, Barrie, followed by Afternoon Tea at 12:30pm at the Barrie Golf and Country Club.
