Edward was a long-term member of the community in St. Lambert, Quebec and his family was among the original parishioners of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Edward coached one of the two original soccer teams in St. Lambert before the sport was popular - he was so passionate about soccer and the Montreal Canadians of course.
