Edward Mayer

Edward Mayer, a hardworking and devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away on December 29, 2018 surrounded by family in his home. We would like to express appreciation to the Etobicoke General Palliative Care Nurses, Personal Support Workers and Physicians who provided care during the last year of his life. Born on February 12, 1927, Edward lived 92 well accomplished years. Edward’s warmth and positive wisdom was admired by all who knew him. He immigrated as a young man from Austria to Canada and created a new life for his family. He was passionate about nature and spending quality family time at the cottage. His memories and funny jokes will be lived on through his wife, Agnes; sons, Jim and Ron; daughter-in-law, Linda; and grandchildren, Dana, Lori, Emily and Warren.
