It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Eftihia Theofilaktidis, a fierce, independent, and remarkable woman who lived life on her own terms.
Eftihia passed peacefully with her family by her side on March 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, wisdom, and a spirit that will never be forgotten. Born on March 23rd, 1950, Eftihia was a woman who always blazed her own trail. She lived with a fierce will, tackling life's challenges head-on and embracing every moment with an unwavering zest for living. She was never afraid to take risks and embraced her passions. Known for determination, Eftihia was a force of nature, never bound by convention and always stayed true to herself. She valued freedom, self-expression, adventure, and instilled her values in all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beloved friend, an irreplaceable mother, and a cherished sister and grandmother. Eftihia’s life was full of laughter, unforgettable stories, and a love of those who were lucky enough to be a part of her journey. Her unwavering strength was matched only by her kindness. Her ability to find joy in even the smallest moments inspired all who crossed her path. Whether she was sharing her wisdom, telling a joke, or offering a word of encouragement, her presence was one that brought light and warmth to those around her.
Eftihia is survived by her children Christos (Freda), Melpomeni (Danny), Periclis and Sotirios (Demetra). She was a loving grandmother to Eftihia, Anastasia, Alexia, Nicholaos, Antonios, Georgios and Loukas. While we mourn the loss of this extraordinary woman, we also celebrate her life—a life lived boldly, with passion, purpose, and a steadfast commitment to living life ‘Eftihia’s way.’ Her legacy will continue to inspire us to be strong, to be true to ourselves, and to embrace each day with the same vigor and determination she did.
