Elaine Berns

Passed away June 5th, at Sunnybrook Hospital at 11 am surrounded by her family and her best friend Deborah. Elaine Berns was truly one of a kind. If you are someone who was fortunate enough to know her, you know the impact she had on everyone around her. She spent all her time selflessly helping others. As a huge advocate for women's rights, she always fought hard for everyone to have a voice. She was an incredible Sister, Aunt and great Aunt. This is not only a huge loss to her family, but a huge loss to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. You are no longer in pain, and you have found your very own stairway to heaven. Rest in Peace.
