Elias Nasrallah

Suddenly on Saturday, February 17, 2024, surrounded by family, at the age of 54.

Loving son of Ghassan and the late Ilham “Amal”. Beloved husband of Réjeanne Brazeau. Devoted father of Gabriella Rose and Mathieu Ryan. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Marwan (Jennifer) and Andre (Jennifer) and his nephews and niece Massimo, Luciano and Sofia. Forever remembered by his parents-in-law Réjean and Carole Brazeau. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends in Canada, the United States and Lebanon.

Eli worked as a bus operator with OC Transpo for many years.  He enjoyed watching hockey and was a proud Ottawa Senators fan. You would often hear him declare a "Go Sens Go" before each hockey game! 

Eli loved his friends and family dearly and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a proud supporter of the local business community. He was a foodie at heart; his passion for cooking and love of BBQ was unmatched. He was well known for his volunteer work and as the founder of the BBQ Ottawa Facebook group.

Eli left an impression on everyone he met. His dedication to his family, friends and the local community will be profoundly missed.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Meatings BBQ - The Puck Stop - Located on the second floor of Richcraft Sensplex, 813 Shefford Rd. Guests are encouraged to wear their favourite hockey jersey, Hawaiian shirt, or BBQ shirt in Eli’s honour. 

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
