Elizabeth Leblanc

Passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on September 29, 2016 in her 67th year. Beloved mother of Trista DeVries (Andy). Daughter of Ivey Rowe and the late Russell Rowe. Elizabeth graduated from the York Regional School of Nursing (now the Nursing Programme of Seneca College) in 1971, and practised as a nurse until 1981. From 1981 to 1995, she was the owner operator of a large franchise business, before going back to school to receive her BA in Religious Studies from King's College, University of Western Ontario in 1999. She was a graduate of the Ontario Management Development Program's Business Management Studies in 2000. An avid volunteer, Elizabeth gave of her time generously to many organizations over the years, including the READ Program in London, Ontario, where she assisted an adult learner from Kindergarten reading level to receiving her GED. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, crafting, quilting, and lively discussions about religion. She also enjoyed being in nature and watching movies.
