Elizabeth Sloan

On Monday April 17, 2023 Elizabeth Sloan of London Ontario, sadly and unexpectedly passed away at the age of 69 years. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She will be lovingly remember by her family, and sons Tomas Tassy, Christopher Burger, daughter Julie Carney, son in-law Michael Carney, daughter in-law Dana Tousignant, sister Erika Endes and grandsons Brody and Mason Burger. She will also be dearly missed by close friend Gloria Leckie and by her other close friends and coworkers.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband Doug Sloan of 37 years, her brother Leslie Horvath, and her parents Magda and Laszlo Horvath.

Born and raised in Ontario, Elizabeth attended Don Mills Collegiate Institute and spent her career in interior design with her passion for color and creativity. She was a proud pet owner to Louie, an artist in her spare time and enjoyed playing music on the piano, gardening and playing with her grandkids.

A visitation will be held at St John’s Dixie Cemetery on Saturday April 22, 2023. Located at 737 Dundas St E Mississauga.
