It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Viszlay announces her peaceful passing on January 1, 2023 at the age of 94. Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest. Elizabeth and Ernest were married for 61 years in 2010 when Ernest passed away. Also predeceased by her daughter Mary.
Loving mother of Elizabeth. Loving grandmother to Jennifer (husband Paul Vandenberg), Steven Hose (wife Tanya ) and Gregory Hose, and great grandmother to Tristin and Alex.

Elizabeth was born in Pamleng, Hungary. Her family emigrated to Woodstock area in 1957. Her daughter Mary died in a tragic accident coming home from school in Delhi. In 1964 the family moved to Brampton. In 1989 Elizabeth and Ernest moved to Barrie where they resided for the rest of their lives.

Elizabeth was a determined woman who accomplished anything she set her mind to, She was selfless and loved everyone and in turn everyone loved her. Since 2014 she resided at Roberta Place and all the employees knew her as grandma. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
