Ellen Koens

KOENS, Ellen Passed away peacefully at St. May’s Hospital with family around. Ellen is predeceased by her siblings Agnes, Marika and Jim. She is survived by her siblings Lia, Paula, Irene, Connie and Keith. Loving mother to Ted, Hazel and Paul. Beloved Oma to nine grandchildren. She took great pleasure in her great grandchildren, Grayson, Atlas, Hayden, Danae, Micaela and Brooklyn. She will be remembered for her devotion to daily Bible reading. This love of the Bible has influenced her family so deeply that one of her grandchildren has taken to missionary work with Jehovah’s Witnesses in Haiti for thirteen years. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to join her family on July 14th at 1:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall 185 Swallow Street, Waterloo.
