In loving memory of Emily Showdra, who gracefully departed from this world on July 22, 2024, at the Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home in Guelph. Emily was born on November 7, 1936, and her life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

Emily leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by her surviving family: her daughters Kathy (spouse Paul), Judy (spouse Brian), Samantha (spouse Stephen), Tamara (spouse Sean), along with her 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Each member of her family held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the moments spent with all of them.

Emily will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who cherished her family dearly.

Emily's life was marked by her generosity and caring nature. She extended a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying empathy and understanding in every interaction. Her genuine kindness left an indelible impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
