Eric, born on February 18th, 1974, in Ottawa, Ontario, embarked on his final journey on June 30th, 2023. He was an extraordinary young man whose compassionate heart touched the lives of those around him.
In his testament to his unwavering love and devotion, Eric became a pillar of strength for his mother, Debbie, following her stroke seven years ago. His selflessness and dedication in caring for her were truly remarkable and a reflection of his deep love he held for her.
Eric's journey was marked by not only his loving nature but also his commitment to self-improvement and helping others. On February 16th, 2022, he achieved a significant milestone in his life by obtaining his certification from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in the Personal Support Worker - Accelerated program. This accomplishment highlighted his dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need, further emphasizing his caring and nurturing spirit.
Eric cherished the bond he shared with his brother Doron (Kristin) who resides in Florida. Their connection was a source of joy and support throughout their relationship, transcending the miles that separated them.
Among his loving relatives, Eric shared a unique and cherished bond with his Uncle Kenny. His other uncles, Bob, Gordie, Steven and the late Bryan, held a special place in his heart. He was also adored by his aunts Mary (late Dick), Sandi (Ron), Sue (Bill), Darlene (late Bob), and Sherry (Lorne). Eric leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories, laughter, and shared moments with many cousins.
Eric's uncle's Tom, Danny and John on his stepfather's side shared his life and have many memories of life's joys that Eric possessed.
Animals held a special place in Eric's heart, and he had an exceptional rapport with both dogs and cats. His gentle spirit and kindness extended to all creatures, making him a beloved friend to the furry companions.
Eric's presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will forever be etched in our hearts.
May he find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
