Eric Taylor Mason

It is with heavy hearts and unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of a beautiful man, Eric Mason, Cornwall, Ontario at the age of 84, passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice on May 31, 2024.

Eric is predeceased by his father, Andrew Mason and mother Betty Mason (Kershaw) Whitby, Ontario.

Survived by his wife and loving soulmate, Wanda Mason, brothers, Dean Mason (Nathalie), Ottawa, Ontario, Ron Mason, British Columbia and dearly loved sons Michael Mason (Cindy), Prince Edward Island, Ken Mason (Monique), Carleton Place, Ontario, mother of his sons and long-time friend, Raymonde Mason, Smith Falls, Ontario.  Loving step-father to Tanya Klassen (Eric Klassen) of St. Catharines, Ontario. Eric is survived by great and grand children, nieces and nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.

A special thanks to Brenda Petersen, Eric’s sister-in-law and long-time friend for her caring and support.

Thank you to Eric’s primary care doctor, Dr. Anthony Di Cintio for being our guiding light during this difficult time. Thank you to the compassionate Cornwall Hospice doctors and staff who were a source of comfort that words can’t express.

In respect of Eric’s wish, there will be no service. A private scattering of ashes will occur at a later date.
