Erika Irena Cibas

Cibas, Erika (nee Baumann) passed away peacefully on July 2, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Born Dec 11, 1940 in Alytus Lithuania. Daughter to the late Heinrich and Julia (Palaimyte) Baumann and sister Anna Orlov. Survived by brothers Johann (Anita) Baumann & Frank (late Phyllis) Baumann, daughter Lena (Graham) Gillespie & grandson Evan Gillespie, son Christopher (Tania MacDonald) Cibas, nephew Albert Reinert, niece Debby (Ernie) Baumann-Farmer and many other family members. Erika enjoyed the social friendships of everyone at Sunrise Co-op and the Oshawa Seniors Centre. By Erika’s request, cremation and scattering of ashes in a memorial garden will take place without a service. Memorial donations to either seniors group would be appreciated.
