Mr. Ernie Sunders, age 71, died peacefully on Sept.15th. 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimers and Dementia.
Born on December 14th. 1944 in Kingstown St.Vincent, he migrated to Canada in the early 1970's where he worked in the restaurant industry until he retired.
He always had a positive attitude with a cool and calm demeanor and a great sense of humor. Always willing to help when needed. A lover of all kinds of music. He sang along to every song he heard, even though he had no clue of what the actual lyrics of the song he was singing to were!
Survivors include, son Rohan Saunders, siblings, Richard Saunders and Arleen Saunders grandchildren Rachael Saunders and Dwayne Phillips, also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Carol Saunders, his brother Cedric Saunders and daughter Roseanne Phillips.
Ernie will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.
