Erwin George Szebik

Erwin passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2016 in his 79th year. He was beloved big brother to his sisters; Darleen, Shirley, Marion and Elaine. Erwin was also adored by his nephews and nieces; Stephen, Karen, Hillary, Rene, Megan and Jeffrey and their extended families. Erwin was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He left home and headed off to the University of Western Ontario where completed several degrees, culminating with his MBA. After obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation, he had several successful careers that included College educator and Tax Auditor. After his initial retirement, he continued to operate several small businesses and was actively involved in politics at several levels. Erwin’s passion was politics and he fought to ensure the public was well served by their representatives. Erwin will be missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and associates.
A memorial will be held in the Chapel located at the Forest Lawn Crematorium at 4570 Yonge Street on Sunday July 31, 2016 at 3:00PM.
