Suddenly passed away on a rainy morning, October 6, 2013 at 7:55 am at Toronto East General Hospital, Frances was a strong and fearless warrior fighting against cancer. She will be sadly missed and with lovingly memory by her adult children of Nancy Gail Campbell (deceased from cancer, November 5, 2012), Steward Cameron Campbell, Katherine Linda Campbell and Sandra Jessie Campbell, by five grandchildren, of Constance Spencer, Jennifer Fowler, Monique Campbell, Alexander Campbell and Helen Campbell and by five great-grandchildren of Vanessa Campbell, Jeremiah Folwer, Samantha Folwer, Jesse Spencer and Luke Campbell, by a brother of Jimmy Stolar, by a niece of Christina Stolar, by a nephew of Jimmy Junior Stolar, her two aunties of Lyla Commandant, Grace Stewards, cousins and community members.
Cremation and private family witnessing was held at St. James Cemetery and Crematorium on October 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm, 635 Parliament Street, Toronto. Final Rites with Anointment conducted by Reverend Andrew Westley, Church of Redeemer, Toronto Urban Native Ministry.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Wahta United Church, Hyw 38, Wahta Mohawks Kanien’keha:Ka. Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 18 at Wahta United Church, Hyw 38. Following, Frances will be laid to rest at Wahta Mohawk Cemetery within her home community.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrooke Hospital.
