Frances (Blake) Smith

Fran (Blake) Smith, March 1933 – April 2021, passed away peacefully at age 88 due to late onset of Parkinson’s disease and its painful symptoms. She spent her final years living in and loving Merrickville, Ontario. Throughout her life, she enjoyed music, theatre and broadway and instilled these arts and flairs in her three children; Margot Joyce (David), Bradley Smith (Charlotte) and Andrea Smith. She is survived by her sister Louise (Blake) Moore. She will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren; Christopher, Ashlea, Bryant, Sarah, Amy, Jordan, Maegan and Nicole, and by several nieces, nephews and extended Smith Family members. Huge thank you’s to the caring staff at Hilltop Manor. There will be no service arrangements however, belting out a show tune of your choice or a donation to “Theatre Night in Merrickville” would be appreciated.
