Francis Barnes

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Francis Constantine Barnes also known as Wallace on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the age of 78. Francis was born in the town of Sangre Grande, Trinidad on March 12, 1943 to mother Georgina Barnes. He was the father of Junior Blake and Ray Barnes. Grandfather of 6 - Solomon, Justin, Hanna, Tiffany, Michael and Pamela. Great grandfather of 4. Brother of Matthew (Selwyn), Carl (deceased) and Desmond (deceased). Uncle to Gavin, Stern, Core, Nicola and Carlos.  Stepfather to Ieon and Michelle Franklin. Father-in-law to Joanne and Althea. Cousin to Ansil, Yvonne (deceased), Mavin (deceased), Cynthia, Petra, Horace, Leroy and Jones. Close friend to Uric, Stern, Peter, Philip, Leroy, Julian, Alfred, Raymond, Anne-Marie and the Guy family. We all share in mourning his loss. He was a member of the Sts Peter + Paul Parish. The family of the late Francis Barnes would like to acknowledge and thank the doctors and nurses at the Trillium Health Partners hospital, and to all the friends and residents of 2465 Hurontario St who offered their support and kind words during this difficult time.
