Francis Walter Weir

The family of Francis "Frank" Walter Weir expresses their deepest sadness at the loss of their husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on the morning of August 31, 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario.
Son of the late Alma and Clyde, Frank is survived by his wife Joanna, daughter Kerri (Eric), son Douglas (Genevieve), two granddaughters Annabelle and Elodie, siblings John (Colleen), Cheryl (Dave), Karen (Martin) and Dawne (CJ, the late), and many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Frank's kindness, dedication, love, humour and willingness to help others will live on in those who had the privilege to know him and will never be forgotten.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Thursday September 6th from 4 to 8 p.m. (with the formal service beginning at 5:30 p.m.) at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 480, Westboro, 391 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
