In Loving Memory of Frank Hogan
Frank passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023 at the age of 62. He will be greatly missed by his wife Tina of 37 years and their daughter, Jessica. Tina’s resilience and loving presence comforted him in his final moments.
Frank was born in Newfoundland and was one of nine children. He is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Rita (nee Layman) Hogan and his brother, Al. Frank was admired by his siblings Larry, Cyril (Faith), Fabian, Damian, Ray (Cindy), Anne and Martina (Oral). Frank was a loving uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Frank leaves to mourn his Mother-in-Law Rose (Derek), Sister-in Law Kim (Reg) as well as Sister-in laws Lori (Matt) and Angela (Ashley), with whom he had very special relationships.
Franks unique personality touched the hearts of everyone that knew him, he loved life. When asked how he was, he always answered “Fantastic.” His spirit and rebellious nature will be forever remembered and lives on in Jessica.
To Ray, Lori & Matt, Angela & Ashley, Sharon & Paul, Nad, Martina and Fabian, who served as pillars of strength and offered tremendous support to Frank and Tina, we thank you. To all those who offered prayers and support, we thank you.
Let us always be inspired by Frank’s loyalty, strength, and the joy he brought into our lives.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bethel Hospice for their dedication to ensuring Frank’s final weeks were as comfortable as possible. We greatly appreciate their commitment and service.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in memory of Frank to the charity of your choice.
About My Brother
This Was Brother Frankie throughout his life
Quietly a hero, Who lived his time like a gift, withholding nothing.
His youth...his love... His enjoyment of being alive...
His future, like a book, with many pages still uncut
This was my brother Frankie, who’s loyalty was humbling
He always had your back and stepped into the breach when he was needed.
That’s what he did in life; He was always needed.
And even Death must have been a little shamed at his resilience, courage and spirit.
(Inspired from a poem by Mona Gould)
About Home
Home is a place where you feel safe
A place where your heart rests
Where your soul is content
A place where you rejuvenate
Where you re-energize
Whenever he left my home Frank was
Fearless
Ferocious
Forthright
As he knew he was always going home
For him Tina was Home
