Frederick Iverson

August 16, 1928 — April 27, 2017

Peacefully on April 27th, 2017, while a resident at Extendicare Mississauga. Loving husband of Jeanne (predeceased). Dear father to Ruth (Glenn) Lucas, Douglas and Carol. Grandfather to Damian. He is survived by his elder brother, Doug, and many nieces and nephews. Fred was born in Hamilton, Ontario on August 16th 1928 and moved to Toronto to raise his family. Had a wonderful career with NCR where he was part of the age that went from repairing cash registers to programming computers. Through his lifetime he stayed active by being a long-time member of the Beaver Bible Club, Kew Beach Couples Club and their church choir. Fred also enjoyed bowling on numerous teams through his lifetime. Cremation has already taken place.
A Special thank you for the staff at Amica at Erin Mills who helped Fred enjoy his retirement. To Naderia and the wonderful staff at Extendicare Mississauga who lovingly looked after Fred. Denise, Jan and Doug will miss the weekly get together.
As Expressions of sympathy, a donation in memory of Fred to Heart and Stroke Foundation or MS Simcoe County would be appreciated by the family.
