It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Marie Blanco (Stirling) at the age of 80 on November 17, 2024, at Emmanuel House Hospice - Good Shepherd in Hamilton, Ontario.

Gail was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Robertson and Jason Robertson, and her cherished granddaughters, Courtney, Brittany, and Kathrine Robertson. She also leaves several nephews, great-nephews, and nieces, who will remember her fondly.

Gail was predeceased by her beloved brother, Jimmy Stirling.

A family gathering to honour Gail's life will be held in the spring, allowing loved ones to come together to share memories and celebrate her remarkable spirit.

Gail was known for making every moment count. She took immense pride in her family and was a constant source of support and love for her sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. Her adventurous spirit shone through in the many journeys she shared with her nephews, Bobby and Steve, along with their wives, Julie and Lee. Together, they created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

Gail's vibrant personality drew people in, and she was often the heart of any gathering. Alongside her best friend, Heather Abbott, she embraced life to the fullest, planning outings and ensuring every event was memorable.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Erin Gallagher of Stone Church Family Health Centre for her unwavering commitment to Gail's care over the years. Special thanks also go to the dedicated and compassionate team at Emmanuel House Hospice for their support during this time. Additionally, heartfelt appreciation is expressed to Tom Jackson, Councillor Ward 6, for his support throughout the years and to Bobby, Steve, Julie, and Lee Stirling for their love and unwavering support of Gail.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Emmanuel House Hospice - Good Shepherd.

Gail Marie Blanco was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
