Gail Helen Garbutt
November 30th, 1945 – February 24th 2019
Gail Helen Garbutt of Mississauga, passed quietly in her sleep on February 24th, 2019, at The Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke. Gail will be greatly missed by all.
Daughter of William and Agnes Regan, Gail grew up in Toronto before marrying Donald Garbutt (deceased) and eventually relocated to Mississauga where she and Don raised their three sons. Gail devoted her life to her boys, they meant everything to her.
Gail leaves behind her children Michael, Darren (Susan) and Jason, and cherished grandsons Jonathan, Liam, Kieran, Joshua and Spencer and her great granddaughter Sophia.
Gail is survived by her sister Rosemary and her brothers Dennis (Mona), Barry (Susan) and Brian.
Gail is predeceased by her youngest sibling, her sister Nancy, who's pictures remained at Gail's bed side after Nancy's untimely passing.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff and volunteers of The Dorothy Ley Hospice for the care they provided to Gail in her final days.
The family asks that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to The Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke.
