With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gail Anne Pelletier on September 20, 2023, at the age of 61. Born on February 21, 1962, Gail's life was characterized by intelligence, kindness, and unwavering strength.
Gail's pursuit of knowledge led her to Georgian College, where she not only achieved her degree but did so with honours in the Personal Support Worker program. This accomplishment speaks volumes about her dedication and desire to contribute positively to the community as well as those around her.
Throughout her journey, Gail cherished the moments of connection with her children and the special times shared with her grandchildren. She leaves behind her loving mother, Bernice Stiles; her children: Justin, Joshua, Jonathan, and Stefanie De Sousa; and her grandchildren, Theodore De Sousa, Nathaniel, and Saoirse.
Gail also shared a deep bond with her siblings: Her sisters; Becky, Pam, and Nicole Pelletier, and her brother David Pelletier. The Pelletier family's enduring love, support and unity remained a constant throughout their lives.
To know Gail was to experience the depth of her kindness. and resolute strength of character. Her resilience and unwavering spirit were truly commendable, and these wonderful qualities shone through in the work she did volunteering and serving her community. She was a beacon of comfort and understanding to those fortunate enough to have known her and served with her.
As we remember Gail, we celebrate the life she lived, the community and lives she touched, and the memories she left behind.
