Geoffrey Alexander Kean October 17, 1969 – July 26, 2018
With deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Geoffrey Alexander Kean on July 26, 2018. Predeceased by his father, Douglas Kean, Geoff is survived by his mother and step-father, Pamela Kean and Glen Mohabir, his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Connie Kean, and his nephews Ben and Sam. He will also be dearly missed by his close-knit group of friends.
Geoff was kind, gentle and wickedly funny. Accepting, generous, and full of life, he had an innate ability to put those he met at ease. Geoff was quick to laugh and found joy in the little things, whether it was a conversation with a good friend, a delicious meal, or a great beer. An avid gamer, movie buff and pop culture aficionado, he was the guy everyone wanted on their Trivia Night team. His empathy, warmth, and wit will be sorely missed.
A celebration of Geoffrey's life will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 at his brother’s house (1666 Amberlea Road, Pickering). As Geoff was a lifelong animal lover, in lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto Animal Services or the Toronto Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
