George Laird

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of George on Thursday, July 8th.George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Wilma, children Scott (Elaine), Donna, Sandra(Jim),grandchildren Adam (Amber),Sarah and Kyla. George is also survived by brother Billy, sister Sadie and many nieces and nephews in Scotland. George was born in Kilmarnock Scotland on September 16,1931 to John and Mary. Wilma and George married on March22, 1957 and immigrated to Canada that same year. George enjoyed watching his Soccer and Formula 1 racing on weekends with a little golf mixed in between. He also never met a Single Malt Scotch he didn't like but Glenfiddich was his favorite. Cheers Dad! The family wish to express their deep appreciation to the Doctors &Nurses at Brampton Civic Hospital for the care he received. As per George's wishes no service will be held.
