SPANO, George Carl August 16, 1927 - October 29, 2018 In hospital, Monday, October 29, 2018. George Carl, age 91. Beloved husband to the late Stella Spano (nee Sauve). Loving father of Beverley Baker, Carl (Arlene), Perry (Barbara). Cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and great-grandfather to nine great- grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean (late Joseph) Tegano. Predeceased by daughter and son-in-law Lynn Irwin and Spencer, brother Joseph (Marge), Earl (Gwen), and sisters Violet (Domenic) Forcellini and Marguerite (Ernie) Milner. Funeral services will be held at the Hope Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, November 7 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Notre-Dame Cemetery. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 13 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church (Young St.). Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
