George Trogadis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George Trogadis, at the age of 84.  George was a beloved husband, father and brother, favourite uncle to his nieces and nephew and a friend to many.

Throughout his life, George had an innate curiosity, was a reader of history and a creative thinker which made him a talented artist and photographer. At the same time, he enjoyed simple pleasures: he was an amazing cook, an avid follower of soccer and college football and a lover of music. George was also a born gardener and one of his greatest prides was his garden in Greece where, until last year when Covid hit us, he spent six months every year. A life well-lived is the greatest legacy of all...

It was his wish that his final resting place be in the place of his birth, Stimaga, and his cremated remains will be taken there once travel is permitted. George will be greatly missed by his wife Judy, his daughter Margo (Dimitri), his brother Costas (Christina), his nieces Demetra (Gus), Margo, Angela, Antigone (Frédéric), Jennifer, Tsenta (Mike), his nephew Patrick (Kathy), and his friends and family in Canada and Greece.
